Janis "becca" Boone
When you suffer a traumatic event, your entire world changes. This can cause fractured relationships, thoughts of suicide, self-sabotaging behaviors, problems with concentration, and feelings of anger, depression, and emptiness. Do you feel alone, disconnected or unusually angry and/or depressed? Do you question how you will make it through another day? The counseling relationship provides a safe and supportive environment to explore personal relationships, build self-esteem, reduce stress and anxiety, address maladaptive behaviors and heal from traumatic experiences. I offer a holistic and customized therapeutic approach to meet your individual needs and provide you with tools to use at home, school, or in the workplace. I have extensive experience working with veterans, families in transition, those affected by traumatic events, and youth diagnosed with emotional disorders. In 2010, I graduated from the University of Colorado with honors and received a Master's Degree in Counseling and Human Services. I have enjoyed working with individual clients in private practice for over 9 years.
